This curriculum introduces middle school students to career development and teaches them the importance of planning for their future. In a series of 36 lesson plans that stress learning through activity, students gain self-knowledge, explore career and educational options and begin basic career planning. A practical guide thats links school to the world of work. Helps students make informed decisions, make relevant future goals, find direction and better understand career development as a lifelong process. Each lesson contains learning objectives, materials needed, teacher prep tips, step-by-step activities, activity or resource sheets and discussion questions.
