Character traits identify a person’s values and behavior. People exhibit personal qualities by their attitude, actions and philosophy. These qualities are what determines a person’s real character and guides them to make the right choices. Traits included are: ATTITUDE, RESPECT, TRUSTWORTHINESS, RESPONSIBILITY, HONESTY and COURAGE. (Each character trait is 6 minutes long and can stand alone for discussion purposes.) Real teens tell how they have learned these traits and how the traits have helped them build character. Experts discuss the importance of character and illustrate ways to develop "good" character traits. Grades 7 - 12. © 2002. 38 minute video with Instructor’s Guide.
